Curriculum
In Key Stage Two (Years 3 and 6), we follow the National curriculum for England. This is the statutory national curriculum framework.
The national curriculum sets out the programmes of study and attainment targets for all subjects at all 4 key stages.
The majority of this national curriculum was introduced in September 2014, with English and maths coming into force for all year groups from September 2016.

HOMEWORK
We consider that homework plays an important part in the child’s development of Literacy and Numeracy skills. Parents are encouraged to take an active interest in their child’s homework and support them in it. We especially ask that you hear your child read during the “Reading Component” of the homework time as reading is a skill that supports so many of areas .
