CLASS TEACHER with a possibility of a TLR in RE or Science and Phase leader (Fixed to Permanent)

The Federation of St Joseph’s Infant and Junior Catholic Schools are seeking to appoint a fixed term (from 01/09/2022-31/08/2023) Upper Key Stage 2 Phase Leader to drive forward our high standards, whilst also ensuring enrichment of pupils’ learning experiences.

The phase leaders will:

  • be a committed, practicing Catholic with a clear understanding of leadership of a Catholic school
  • be an experienced teacher with ambition, drive and dedication to the post
  • have leadership experience in SLT or post holder roles
  • be an outstanding and inspirational classroom practitioner with high expectations for all
  • be able to challenge, motivate and empower staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils enabling every child to fulfil their full potential
  • be committed to working in partnership to maintain and build upon our current achievements
  • demonstrate exceptional skills in the monitoring of pupil progress through data analysis and evaluation
  • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to strengthen parent, parish and community partnerships.
  • have experience teaching across key stages.
  • Post start date: 1st September 2022

SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT(S)

The Federation of St Joseph's Catholic Infant and Junior Schools are seeking to appoint  and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who would like to work with primary aged children in our friendly and happy school. You will support children with EHCPs (Education Health Care Plan) in the classroom.

You will support children with EHCPs (Education Health Care Plan) in the classroom.
You will be flexible and willing to work within the federation and primary age range. We are looking for someone who is patient, able to implement school strategies and deal with occurrences of challenging behaviour.
You must have experience of working with children with special needs.
You must have a flexible approach, a sense of humour, reliability, punctuality, stamina, resilience and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
You will need to be able to work well as part of a supportive team and take direction from the class teacher, use your own initiative and build a strong relationship with the children.

Sports Coach Teaching Assistant – General Level 2a

The Federation of St Joseph's Catholic Infant and Junior Schools are looking to appoint a Sports Coach/ TA for Sports
to work across our two academies and to support individuals and groups of students to
support high standards of teaching Sports. 

Sports Coach Teaching Assistant  position is across the federation for Saint Joseph's Infant School and Saint Joseph's Junior School.

39 weeks per year. 32.5 hours per week.
