Cycle Training 2023
This week in school (Monday 19th June - Friday 26th June), Year 5 and Year 6 have been having cycle training completing a bikeability course. The children first had their bikes checked our for safety by one of the instructors before taking part in daily 90 minute bike sessions. The children first learnt skills on the playground they would need before applying these by taking out onto the road. The children each day have been completing longer cycle routes around the local community. This is to ensure the children's safety when riding their bike and also encourage them to use their bike when travelling to school each day. The children have had a fantastic week and really enjoyed themselves.
