Year 6 - RE SPEC Retreat
As part of our RE program, we organised a special retreat for Year 6 to the Ministry Youth Retreat Centre in Pinner known as SPEC. SPEC stands for Spiritual & Personal Encounter with Christ. The centre itself is based in a beautiful setting. Throughout the day, the children completed a range of activities with their friends and had the opportunity to work together to grow closer to one another and God. All of the children had an amazing time and it was a lovely way to bring their final year at St Joseph's Junior School to a close. One of our Year 6 pupils said, "It was very interesting that we got to go into the chapel and reflect on our special day. It was wonderful that we were in small groups with the bible allowing us to talk and reflect on what we know and learnt."
