Relationship and Sex Education (RSE)
From September 2020, it is a statutory requirement that all schools in England and Wales are teaching Relationship and Sex Education as a fundamental part of the curriculum.
Since it has now been 3 years since our initial consultation and there have also been a few small changes to the resources from the program we are consulting our parents again on RSE. The consultation is open now. It opened Monday 4th September 2023 and will be open for 6 weeks closing Friday 13th October 2023. A letter explaining this is attached below.
We are continuing to use the Westminster Diocese accredited Ten Ten resources ‘Life to the Full’ programme. This is the programme we have been using since 2020. The parental portal will give you full access to the work and resources used for the children. The direct link, login and password for this have been e-mailed to all parents. If you can not access this please contact the school office who will be happy to help you.
Should you have any questions, queries or statements in the consultation period, please e-mail the school using the following addresses:
email@example.com (for the junior school)
Please find below the schools policy (in consultation) for Relationship and Sex Education as well as the Curriculum Outline:
